Quality and Care:

Smith and Poet creations are handmade by Kate Caicedo in her Sydney studio using bronze, sterling silver, gold, natural gemstones and leather. Each piece is lovingly and carefully crafted with a commitment to quality and comes with the artist’s signature stamp and sterling silver or gold hallmark stamp for authenticity.

There may be slight differences between pieces as this is the unique and beautiful nature of handmade v’s machined finishes.

Smith and Poet bolo ties have a handmade sterling silver or gold plated Bennett clasp at the back to securely fasten the bolo pendant at the desired level. This clasp holds strong but still needs to be handled with care.

All creations come gifted in either a custom made Smith and Poet pouch or custom made Smith and Poet tin box lined with black French felt. To preserve your unique and precious piece please keep in the gift pouch or bag when not wearing. Please contact the artist kate@smithandpoet.com.au if you have questions.

Payments

Payments are received using Shopify or PayPal. Shopify and Paypal offer a secure and protected platform for your required personal information to make a payment (such as name, email and postal address) and payment methods to be entered in.  The artist Kate believes in ethical transactions and business policies. Makers Guarantee/Warranty/Refund:

Smith and Poet guarantees quality therefore provides a lifetime warranty. This warranty does not include general wearing down of metal, leather or scratches that come from owning and wearing jewellery. Each piece is quality checked prior to dispatch by the artist herself. No refund is possible for change of mind, however customer satisfaction, longevity and pleasure in owning a Smith and Poet piece is the highest of priorities so please contact Kate via her personal email kate@smithandpoet.com.au or the contact page if you have a question about the piece you have received, or if it is a well loved and worn piece needing some extra detailing again.

Shipping:
Smith and Poet pieces are carefully packaged and mailed using insured registered post with a tracking number sent via email.
Postage is free for customers in Australia.
International posting is charged at a flat rate of AU$20.00 to keep it simple. Any extra costs are absorbed by the artist in good will.
